Village pub on roadside location next to the Yeo Bridge. Not the most bustling of pubs it does seem stuck in a time warp, as indicated by the amount of keg bitters on offer including Bass Smooth, Whitbread Best and Bass Mild. Doom bar was the solitary real ale and was in good condition. There's a Parrot in a cage, pool table and a rather dark looking dining area with painted wall murals. The beer garden has a large gazebo for smokers no doubt and also some kids play equipment in the bottom corner. With other pubs pulling up their game this is in danger of being left behind, a shame as the welcome was friendly enough and chips were plentiful and good value!
