The Ark Royal was an estate pub that was fairly close to the Hipp which is just round the corner.
This pub had two rooms and i had a drink in the bar and this was a decent enough room to have a drink in.
This pub was a Robinsons tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Robinsons Best bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Robinsons mild.
The pub was fairly busy on my visit.
Sadly this pub has now closed down and it is now a church.
