The Royal Oak is a stand alone pub that is quite close to the Trumpet Inn.
When i visited this pub i was a very basic pub with a couple of rooms,i usually had a drink in the bar.
This pub used to be a Shipstones tied house and there were two real ales on the bar, Shipstone bitter was a very nice drink the other beer was Shipstones mild which was also a nice drink.
This pub is still standing but i am not sure what beers are now on here.
