The Rose and Crown is a decent looking pub that is at the top end of church street and it is fairly close to the Peacock.
Once inside there was a decent bar and a smart lounge,the pub used to be an Home Ales tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Home Bitter which was a very nice drink the other beer was Home mild.
This pub is still up and running but i am not sure what beers are now on here.
