A locals' pub on the main pedestrianised street amongst the shops. One long room extends backwards and upwards, with several TV screens showing sport and darts and pool at the back. Seemed fairly busy but sadly the two handpumps were unused.

A terraced town centre Georgian looking pub in white, with black paintwork. The lower half is in chamfered ashlar blocks and the upper half has projecting window lintles, pub lanterns - looks neat.

The interior has a long narrow room and an upstairs room. The decor is a mix of red and cream, with a white ceiling and red and white upstairs, where there is a dart board. There are tiled fireplaces both upstair and down and lots of Wolves pictures and memorabilia all over the pub - as well as a stuffed bird in a cage! There were a few TVs, some not on, one with footy on and another supplying the music through some charty channel. The service was really friendly - i had a good chat to the guy behind the bar about the loss of pubs around the Bilston area. There was no other clientele in when i visited, but generally it is mixed, with maybe a younger leaning.

Beer; no real ale, usual keg drinks with Banks's MILD smooth. Just had a Boddington's shandy, which was fine.

Nothing for the real ale drinker. A general town centre pub, will get loud sometimes, but happy to pop in for one every so often.
