Alan Winfield left this review about Plymouth Grove
The Plymouth Grove was a very grand ornate looking pub and the only pub on this longish road.
This pub was a Boddingtons tied house and once inside there were a few rooms i went in the room at the front of the pub this was quite smart with bench type seating and carpeted, the pub was very busy on my visit with mainly older drinkers.
There were two real ales on here and i had a drink of Boddingtons bitter and this was quite a nice drink the other beer was Boddingtons mild.
I thought this was a very nice comfortable pub to have a drink in.
Sadly this pub is now tinned up and looks in a very sorry state.
