The Grey Mare was a pretty grim looking estate pub in the northern area of longsight and not too far from hyde road.
Once inside this pub had two rooms a basic bar and a lounge i went in the bar and this had a rough edge to it.
The pub was a Bass tied house and there was one real ale on the bar this was Stones bitter and this was a decent drink.
The entrance at the front of the pub was shut so i used the back entrance.
I think this pub may have been demolished as the area has been redeveloped.
