William Gunn is a shop converted single room bar with custom built wooden benches out front that surround some fake grass. The interior has a green hue and is open plan with some modern wood panelling and shelving up the left-hand wall and a bar counter up the right. Standard and premium keg was available and the two hand pumps were drawing Fuller’s London Pride and St Austell’s Tribute. The ashes was playing on the televisions throughout, I was actually surprised that this was the only pub or bar that was showing it during a recent Wednesday wander. However, it was muted while some chilled R&B and jazz played in the background. The service was friendly, but there are some cracking pubs around these parts so unfortunately this place doesn’t make it onto my revisit list.

This bar is opposite trent bridge cricket ground and very close to Nottingham Forests city ground.
The bar is set back from the very busy radcliffe road and there are a few metal tables and chairs at the front if you want to watch traffic go by,these are very uncomfortable.
Once inside there is one room with the bar on the right this room was dimly lit and had leather settees to sit on these were quite comfy,towards the rear of the room there were a couple of steps down to an area set aside for diners there were only there tables here.
There were quite a few TVs dotted around the room showing some music videos.
There were no real ales on the bar and the only bitter was John Smiths smooth crap this was only £2.00 a pint and all the other beers and lagers were quite cheap probably since the Trent Bridge Inn was took over by Spoons.
The front of the bar says wine bar/ brasserie i think this is more like a sports bar.
On my midweek visit the bar was fairly quiet and i was happy enough having a drink in here it is just a shame there were no real ales on here.
