Visited on Friday afternoon. Fairly quiet but there was a handful of people in. Six hand pulls at the bar, all of which were on, plus a selection of keg taps on the back wall that I didn't pay much attention to (even though the lady serving pointed them out to me). I went for the Malt Brewhouse Blonde at £2 for a half pint. This was a nice easy drinking blonde ale. I received a friendly welcome and good service.
Food is served, TVs were on but muted, with music playing at a sensible volume. It is dog friendly. This place has been nicely done out, light wood effect, some bare brick, and modern lighting all make this an enjoyable place to enjoy a drink.

Formerly the 166 it has been redecorated to a higher standard, still with two rooms, the back/side one being set out for dining and also houses the on-site brewery. The other room is an odd shape and has an odd corner set aside at the back. There is also a bar upstairs sometimes used as a function space.

A large good sized modern pub, that gives you the impression of two venues in one. You enter the pub into a traditional lounge and bar side along with a lower snug area. This side of the pub had exposed stone and brick work and a stone fireplace. Then you take a right hand turn into what can only be described as a modern diner, along with an open plan kitchen, with pizza oven, pool table and shuffleboard down the right hand side.
We called in on a Wednesday eve, so all the cask beers were £2.50. They had six handpumps, with five in use, plus a choice of ten keg beers dispensed from taps along the back wall of the bar. We went for the Saltaire Blonde, which was excellent. No sign of their in-house microbrewery on this visit.
