Alan Winfield left this review about The Barrel
The Barrel is a fairly large old pub that is set away from the road.
Once inside there was a largish room with the bar facing this room was carpeted throughout and had normal tables and chairs.
There were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Abbeydale Moonshine and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Black Sheep bitter.
This is a nice pleasant pub with a decent atmosphere.
