Alan Winfield left this review about The Wheatsheaf
The Wheatsheaf was a large pub at the southern end of levenshulme and on the corner of broom lane and stockport road.
This pub was a Greenalls tied house when i visited it,there were quite a few rooms in this very large pub and i went in the bar.
There were two real ales on the bar and i had a drink or Greenalls bitter and this was a fairly decent drink the other beer was Greenalls mild.
The pub was fairly comfortable but a bit down at heel.
This pub is still standing but is now trading as a restaurant and club.
