A rather uninspiring 60s looking former Labour Club in Netherton centre, with an exposed brick and cream frontage.
The interior is near enough a single straight room. It is accessed by two doors, one of which was the main door that took you past where the guy used to sit checking membership cards. The bar is up one corner and at the other end there is a stage with a wooden dance floor area. The decor is cream and white, with white ceiling and a brown carpet dance floor excepting. Some strange pictures are on the walls - rows of old telephone boxes for instance. There is a TV or two, which had the motor racing on at my visit. The music was general and at a decent level. The service was OK, the clientele mixed.
Beer; all the usual tap stuff with an OK Banks's MILD.
A basic place. Nothing for the real ale drinker but perfectly fine for those that like the tap stuff.
