Large pub that has been forcibly modernised via what could have been a TV show, it has that tacky feel, though the peacock mural lands on the side of tasteful Large, if somewhat scraggy, beer garden out back. One cask, Adnams Ghost Ship, which was a musty mess (NBSS 1.5).

Went in for a pre-curry drink, a pint of Crafty Flanker. I won't be going again. The music was louder than at some rock concerts I have been to. TV screens, obviously put in to catch the football crowd, showing some music station which was different to the music being blasted out from the sound system. It didn't really matter as the sound was off on the TVs!
After 20 minutes of shouting to my partner we left.
Oh very expensive too.
