Having been unable to find anything I wanted to drink in the Two Brewers, I visited this pub as it normally has a good selection of real ales and other beers. Unfortunately, it has decided to follow the example of the Two Brewers. Adnams Broadside was the only real ale available, and all the keg offerings were continental. As I added this pub to the site, I was disappointed with the changes, and I will not be a regular visitor in the future.

This pub, (which years ago was called The Beehive,) is one of the Miller & Carter chain. They specialise in being steakhouse restaurants, but there is a large bar area at the front. Greene King IPA was available at a fair price, and a range of keg beers including London Pride. The restaurant at the rear is three storeys, and there are views over the countryside from the higher storeys. It is not exactly a local pub, but pleasant to go to once in a while.
