Alan Winfield left this review about The Central
The Central is just over a 5 minute walk from the middle of Hucknall.the pub looks like it was converted from an house.
Once inside there was a smallish bar near the entrance and a room running to the left, this room was carpeted and had comfy bench seating and small tables and chairs, this room was quite busy with mainly older drinkers, there was a TV showing sports.
There was a larger room to the right this room was carpeted and looked more like the lounge.
There were no real ales on the bar,the keg options were Kimberley Dark mild which i had and this was a decent enough drink the other beer was Youngers bitter.
There were notices around the room about what members can do but when i asked at the bar if this was a pub or club they said anyone can come in here for a drink,so i will count this as a pub.
