Requested be closed with reason - Gone away: Noticed that it was closed with building works ongoing when walking past. Unfortunately the lovely tiled exterior has all been ripped out and replaced with large windows, What Pub states that it is being converted to flats, a café and a recording studio.

The Prince of Wales is a small and very basic pub that has a nice tiled frontage,it is opposite The Criterion which was sadly not open as they were on holiday.
Once inside the pub has two separate room bot which are small and very basic,i had a drink in the front room which is small and oblong shaped the bar faces on entry to this room, the seating is basic wood bench type, the floor looks like lino, the separate room to the rear is small and square shaped, there is bench seating and small stools.
There are no real ales on the bar and no keg bitters,i had a drink of Guinness which was a decent enough drink.
You dont come across many pubs as basic as this these days.
