The Crossfield Tavern is a smallish stone built pub that is a bit of a walk from any other pubs.
The pub still had its Stones signs outside which is a sign i used to like seeing when in South Yorkshire.
Once inside there was a single room which was carpeted and had bench seating and small stools, there were no real ales on the bar and the keg option was John Smiths smooth crap which i tried and it was crap.
This is a decent enough pub just a shame there was'nt one real ale on here.
