Alan Winfield left this review about The Miners Arms
The Miners Arms is a stone built pub that is in a quiet area away from the middle of Chapeltown.
Once inside the pub has got one room which runs the full width of the pub,the room looked very nice with carpets and very comfortable bench seating which was in bays, there was a pool table and TV in the right corner.
This pub is a Thwaites tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Thwaites Original bitter and this was a decent drink the other beer was Lancaster Bomber.
The pub was empty on my mid afternoon visit which was a shame as this is a really nice pub to sit and relax in over a pint.
