The Royal Oak was a large pub that was set well back from the high street.
The front of the pub looked a bit unkempt with a few picnic benches.
Once inside there was one large room that seemed to lack atmosphere and also seemed a bit neglected.
There were four real ales on the bar i had a drink of Harveys bitter and this was a decent drink the other beers were London Pride, Bombadier and Courage best.
This pub has been pulled down and flats and a bar have been built on the area at the front of the pub.
