Paul McScotty left this review about 13th Note
Situated on King Street just off Argyle Street (heading East) this Glasgow institution may not be visited by many folk thinking its a bit scruffy and only for trendy veggie types but the 13th Note has a lot to offer with an amazing array of beers and real ales from the likes of Williams Brothers, WEST including vegan lagers ( WEST is one such lager ?) and wines as well as the usual spirits and bottled beers. A large pub as you enter with a hint of a 50s American diner to it with large wooden tables and chairs (some curve chaired areas at the window) and a long wooden bar with internal lights. Light wood floors and panelling with large grey supporting columns and purple walls with posters etc. As previously noted the Note has a nice selection of beers and real ales(and spirits) with prices about average for the area (a pint of WEST £3.10 ) - 13th Note is primarily a music / arts venue with a large performance area downstairs (mostly it seems heavy metal/ rock type) toilets are a bit basic. Food is served but is only from a Veggie menu so may not be every tastes.
