Strongers . left this review about Churchill Palace Hotel
This is the Churchill Palace Hotel bar and it is located in the left hand side of the building, but is separate from the hotel. It’s not the biggest place and I found the décor to be awful with mirrored walls and red seedy lighting. The bar stools have springs in them and I must say that they are the most uncomfortable things I’ve ever tried to sit on. The meagre selection from the bar is made up by Fosters, Strongbow, Kronenburg and Surger Guinness. There are a couple of plasma screens that were showing Carling Cup football and there were three ‘interesting’ locals in attendance during my Tuesday evening visit.
The service was friendly enough but I’ll not be returning.
