An hotel, restaurant and bar in an old stone building. The restaurant is to the left as you enter with the bar to the right and then round a corner is the counter, it’s not a big bar with three small tables and some seating at one end, a few stools occupy the other end. Four T-Bars and a single handpump supply the beers, an average Abbeydale Moonshine being the only cask choice. Two old lads and a barmaid were the only occupants on my lunchtime visit, not outstanding.

Real Ale Ray left this review about Manor House Hotel
This a Grade II listed building dating from the 15th Century. The main feature for me was the the small bar area over on the right of entrance, which had a low beamed ceiling and sandstone walls, looked like the interior of an old castle. The further lounge area was very modern and fairly nondescript. One beer on handpump, Abbeydale Moonshine which was near the end of the barrel, so struggled to finish it. Two beers on keg were John Smiths and Theakston Old Peculiar.

Will Larter left this review about Manor House Hotel
This lovely old building is basically a hotel with a cafe bar in the foyer and a bar doubling as the reception desk. To be fair, it is clearly used as a pub, as I wasn't the only drinker at the time of my early afternoon visit. There's just one hand pump on the bar, with Abbeydale Moonshine on. There are bare stone walls, bare floorboards and some background music which my notes at the time describe as "pretty awful". Or perhaps that was meant to refer to the whole visit.
