A rather forbidding looking place (a two storey flat-roofer) situated on a street corner in a trading estate, however it was comfortable and not unwelcoming. Open plan but sort of divided by the seating layout, the bar is along a rear wall directly ahead on entering. Six faux cask ends face you, taps towards the room. These indicate which of the Wibbler’s cask ales are on at the time. A typical range of the more often seen lager etc are on tap behind the bar
There is a fairly large external seating area in front of the entrance. Inside the building extends back beyond the pub area and also seems to link through to what appears to be a club and possibly other extraneous usage.
Live music features and there are drums, guitars etc on display, numerous TVs also show sports with lists of upcoming events displayed.
I don’t think you can really put this pub into any sort of box or category, it seemed to be trying to offer all things to all customers. It was an ok place for an hour or so between the station and the football ground.
