Has had a refurb since I was last in about 18 months ago. Its still multi-areas with a least 5 parts to sit in. Its quite a pleasant pub with a courtyard out back. Lots of tellies so you wont miss a ball kicked or a horse raced. 4 handpumps on the bar and your choice today was Abbott, Brakespeare Oxford, Hobgob and Lancaster Blonde. It has a country pub feel to it.

The Lion is a largish pub in the middle of Sandbach.
This pub has been knocked into one room with different drinking areas and it was also doing cheap food,there were no real ales on the bar and the only bitter was keg Boddingtons bitter so i had a Guinness.
