Quaint atmosphere for the upstairs fish 'n' chip eatery with a bar in one corner. The ambience is terrific (despite the place being completely furnished from a range of skips), the F&C are outstanding, only fault is that the "two meals and a bottle of wine" offer must be upgraded to a better wine. Best of all, mein host occasionally brews his own ale - 257 - named after the house number and a bloody fine brew it is too. Well above average and worth seeking out.
