The Vernon Arms is a white painted pub that is situated close to the middle of Spondon.
When i first went in this pub it was an Ind Coope tied house with keg beers on the bar,things have improved since then with Burtonwood running the pub for a number of years and now it is under Marstons ownership.
Once inside the pub has got two seperate rooms with a decent sized bar which has a pool table in it and a smart cosy looking lounge.
I have had decent Burtonwood bitter in here and the pub now has Pedigree and the likes on the bar.
This is a pleasant pub to visit.
