Forget gourmet pubs, this pub is a good northern traditional boozer in central Bradford. It is kept clean and tidy by the land landlady and her staff. It is good for games nights with a games room at the back. Also good as a party venue with a function room off to the side. I understand some of the upstairs accommodation is being renovated and look forward to seeing the renovations being completed. Some time since the previous review, so hopefully this will put this pub back on the map.

The Carlisle Hotel is a largish pub on a busy main road in the manningham area of Bradford.
Once inside here the pub has been opened out into one room and this is very basic with worn out flooring and ripped seating.
There were no real ales on here with the only bitter being John Smiths smooth crap so i had a Guinness.
This is a very basic and rough pub that most people would feel uncomfortable in.
