Nice corner location with some outdoor seating on the Main Street. Primarily a stripped out bare boarded and exposed brick work interior but more formal down one side. Central island bar serves a keg only selection.

Visited 06/05/25. Visited previously 19/12/23.

No cask. Keg offering of regulars, Alice House lager, Dream Factory Pale Ale from Two Tribes, the London Black Nitro Porter from Anspach & Hobday, the Apple Cider from Umbrella. The two guests on today were from Lost & Grounded, the Wanna Go To the Sun Pale Ale and the Keller Pils.

Pleasant and always busy (based on my previous visits) corner location with some outside seating on the busy main road on a decked area slightly raised from the pavement. Inside the venue has a square island bar in the centre of the bare bricked, bare boarded venue. Nice high ceilings and there is a complex wiring arrangement on the ceiling giving input to what seems like quite a small number of actual hanging bulbs. Regular tables and chairs , some with well-worn metallic surfaces, around the perimeter including on the glass front and on the windowed side. There is a small snug at the rear of the left-hand side and there was a quiz on in the venue a little after my early Tuesday evening visit.

I used to come to this Irish-themed bar in the late '90s and it wasn't too bad - at least the Guinness was very good as was the atmosphere.
