Murphys was a largish irish bar that wa next to the entrance to the west end arcade.
This pub had one large room and the bar faced you has you went in.
There were no rela ales on here with the only bitters being John Smiths smooth crap.
This pub was popular with older people and got very busy on weekend evenings with circuit drinkers in the upper parliament street area.
This pub was not to my taste and it has now closed down.
