Alan Winfield left this review about The Sun Inn
The Sun Inn was a solid looking bare brick built corner pub that was in the back streets of Normanton.
Once inside the pub had two rooms with a very basic bar and a more comfortable lounge,i always had a drink in the bar.
The pub used to be a Kimberley tied house and there were two real ales on the bar which were Kimberley bitter and mild, both served by an electric metered pump, both of these beers were very nice.
I have been in this pub on many occasions either on pub crawls in the Normanton area or to see a mate who lived very close to this pub, i have always enjoyed my time in this pub.
It is a shame that this pub has now closed down.
