This pub was just off norwood and it was next to the cattle market.
Once inside this pub was quite basic with a couple of rooms the pub has Bass signs outside but the one real ale was John Smiths bitter which was a decent drink.
Sadly the pub closed in 1999 and was left untill tesco bought the land and demolished the pub there is now a car park where the pub used to be.
Pub visited 1 August 1998 photo taken same day.
