Gardeners Arms is L-shaped with a pool table and dartboard in the left front and a central L-shaped serving counter that faces grey floral banquette seating to the front and right. There’s a small raised area on the right wall, maybe enough for a duo if this place hosts live music, and televisions are found throughout for live sports. There’s no real ale here, just standard keg and Cruzcampo, but the service was friendly, as were the ageing Tuesday afternoon crowd in attendance. I don’t think anyone is going out of their way to visit here, but it’s a solid local boozer for fans of fizz.
