A very good traditional village pub with a sort of lounge part facing the bar and a fair-sized side room tabled for eating. generally a nice welcoming feel and seemed to be well used by the locals. Draught beers were Black Sheep, Theakstons Lightfoot and Beer Monkey Blonde with those sampled in excellent condition (Cask Marque accreditation). The food was home made and excellent. Great pub.
