White washed pub near the southern end of Long Street, which is definitely a long street I know I've walked it from one end to the other and there's only two pubs. Another low ceilinged open plan single room, originally a double fronted cottage there is an extension at the left which houses a dart board, big screen and a table and some chairs, behind that is a room with the pool table and access to the garden. The counter runs almost the width of the original rooms across the back wall, the two hand pumps were serving John Smiths Cask and Old Speckled Hen, a little chilly but very well kept. The service was good and the chatty locals quite friendly.
