Not really a pub in spite of self-identifying as a pub and restaurant. Externally an old stone building matching other buildings around the village green, internally very modernised and laid out restaurant style with that style of furniture. It’s not a large space, a single square room with the square servery against the back wall clad in pale strip wood. The décor is mainly pale and I thought rather bland. There’s two handpulls on one face, a T-Bar on each of the other two faces, the single cask was Wensleydale Falconer in pretty decent condition and well poured, no wet glass, hands in the right place and correct size of head. The kegs are as you expect. There are well used bar stools around the counter so not entirely a restaurant.
