This is a pub that I've passed many times without ever venturing in. There is a small carpeted bar and a second much larger room with chairs on the tables. There is an undercover outdoor drinking area to the rear of the car park, but the entranceway to the pub seemed to be more popular amongst the smokers.
In the bar, music was playing from a TV in the corner. It was quite lively with children present too. There are sweeet machines, suggesting that their presence is encouraged.
There is just one solitary handpull on the bar these days but it is unused. Keg options were Guinness, Worthington's, Thatcher's Gold, Apple & Blackcurrant Cider, Blood Orange Cider & Cloudy Lemon Cider, Stella Artois, Carling & Madri.
The clientele were fairly friendly with a good mix of young and old. Whilst there was nothing that would attract me back, it's clearly popular with the local community.

Sadly, the experiment with the Thai restaurant didn't last long; food was ok and the beer was kept fairly well, I guess it's in the wrong area. The restaurant space is being turned back into a bar and the new owner intends to have several real ales on handpull. It was work in progress when I visited, only Enville, lager or cider on offer.
As the new owner has another fairly successful pub, it warrants another visit when things are up & running.
