The Old Loom is a plain looking town pub but it does have an interesting stone sign at the top of the pub stating rebuilt 1858 so it is quite an old pub.
Once inside there were a couple of rooms and i went in the bar which was fairly normal and also quiet on my visit,this pub was a Bass tied house all those years ago and there were no real ales on the bar i had a drink of keg Bass mild and this was drinkable but nothing special.
This pub is still open at the moment.
