Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Navigation Inn
Quite an appealing façade, but the single bar is surprisingly plainly furnished and decorated. Function room (not visited). Patio benches out front. Food offers. Just one handpump on the bar counter, offering Doom Bar at £3.00. NB - Although not obvious now, the former Derby Canal once passed nearby but this has long since been filled in and replaced with a cycle path.

The Navigation is a decent sized bare brick built pub that is situated on the busy A6 to the south of the city centre.
When i first went in this pub it was a Bass tied house with a very nice drink of Bass on the bar.
Once inside there is an oblong shaped room to the front with the bar facing, there was bench seating to the right and a pool table to the left which left the room a bit short on tables, there was a seperate room to the rear which was marked games room,i did'nt go in this room.
There were signs saying food available, but nobody was eating on my visit.
There is a large garden to the rear.
There was one pump on the bar which had a make shift sign saying Youngs Gold,i had a drink of this which was ok but far too warm, probably the first pulled off that day.
The pub was very quiet with only 3 other customers in the front room.
I was a bit dissapointed with this pub.
