Real Ale Ray left this review about The Duke Of Wellington Inn
A large open plan gastro pub situated in the village of Newton. It was a couple of mins drive along a single track road from the A69. Has a beautiful interior of limed oak and has superb views. Four ales on Tim Taylor, Hadrian and Border Tyneside Blonde, Deuchers, and Allendale Golden Plover. Called On a Sunday and it was fully booked for lunch. Next time I'll book as food looked good. Also they have accommodation.
