Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Toby Carvery Burnt Tree Island
The Tudorbethan exterior is thankfully less purple than most of this chain's outlets, but that's about it on the plus side. Otherwise it's the usual anonymous furniture and decor in the various seating and (mostly) dining areas, plus some patio seating out front for the better weather. None of the three handpumps was in use, unfortunately, so made do with a Tetley's Smoothflow (£3.30).

A large detached Toby Carvery on a busy traffic island that has been redeveloped for what seems a year. The building is in a mock Tudor style, with a main body whrer the lower half is in white painted brick and the upper half is in cream with red painted woodwork. It has a porch and projecting window bays - a typical Toby. There is a beer patio area.
The interior is a large open plan, though partitioned U-shape around the serving bar, though the one side is larger as it has the carvery serving area as well. The decor is a mix of colours; brown, chocolate, salmon, white, gold patterned wallpaper, green, exposed brick, with a cream ceiling and a snazzy carpet. It is mainly set up for dinig though there is a sofa and comfy chair area wirh a brick fireplace and Churchill pictures on the walls. Old photographs and adverts are on the walls, common to most Toby places and they do supply some interest. I didn't see a TV and the music was general and at a decent level. The service was good and the clientele mixed - it was quite busy. I didn't eat so can't comment on that.
Beer; usual tap stuff with Banks's Bitter and an OK Marston's Pedigree on handpull.
A typical Toby, a foody chain that i have no problems with - their buidlings have consistent real ales and are not done out like a bistro bar. They are not places i would generally go just for a drink, but would eat here
