The Flowerpot was a largish stand alone Shipstones tied house.
This pub was just off the main shopping street and was very popular with all ages,the pub had been opened out but had different drinking areas and was quite comfy.
We always had a drink of Shipstones bitter which was always very nice in here.
Sadly this pub was pulled down in the mid 90s and it is now a car park.
