Popped my head around the door, then beat a hasty retreat after getting a blast of loud music and a flash of disco lights. This was a Sunday afternoon.

Maypole Inn, Derby. Great football pub. Students always welcome, and a great bunch of locals. Function room available for 0-40 people. Free pool 3-7 week days, and bar menu available 11-11. Low price beer and bottles. A very good visit!
