One of the two pubs that almost face each other on the canal side. An interesting rambling place that unfortunately has had a bit of history taken out at some point. The varnish has been stripped off the wood which is actually a sensible decision given it doesn't really catch the light on a sunny day but does feel a bit sad. Ice-cold fairy lights strung from the ceiling not sensible. Two cask on in Tribute and Pedi, the latter of which was decent (NBSS 3) served-up by a friendly barmaid. 80s music of good quality. I quite liked the place, a bit of character, though it was pretty quiet. Suspect it’s more of a winter pub. 6.5

Wonderful canalside pub at the end of the lane. It is very popular particularly at weekends. Noted for it's Pedigree and lively atmosphere. Not to be missed,
