Requested be closed with reason - Other: Reported closed by the Derby Telegraph back in April and marked as such on Google. Having seen it, I'm inclined to agree - boarded & lifeless

Alan Winfield left this review about The Loudon Arms
The Loundon Arms is a white painted pub that is situated just off the busy normanton road.
This pub used to be a keg Ansells tied house with the really fizzy Ansells bitter on the bar with the squirrel logo on it.
Once inside this is a smallish pub that is not as good inside as it looks from the outside, there is a narrow room with the bar facing,on my last visit here the pub looked in need of an upgrade.
There were no real ales on the bar with the bitter being John Smiths smooth crap.
It is nice to see this pub is still up and running unlike the pubs on nearby rosehill street.
