The Kingsway is a large looking estate pub that is close to Mackworth estates main shopping area.
When i first went in this pub it was a Bass tied house with a decent drink of Bass on the bar.
The pub has now been opened out into one large room that runs the width of the pub,the floor is carpeted,the seating is comfy bench type and chairs,there is a pool table to the left and darts board to the right,there were two TVs showing the Liverpool v Everton game.
There were a couple of handpumps on the bar,but with their clips turned round,i had a drink of Theakston Mild,which went down well.
The pub was very busy on my Saturday dinner visit with a younger crowd.
I was happy enough having a drink in this pub.
