This pub has been on my list to visit for some time now and I finally got around to paying it a visit on Saturday morning. Now called the Crafty Swine, I believe it is under the same ownership as the Three Piggies in Allerton.

There is a large, single room with the lengthy bar against a wall on the right-hand side. There are white tiles on the bar back, creating a fairly modern look, with a large beer list in the centre. Chequered floor tiles can be found around the bar area. Around the pub, pictures of strange looking pigs can be found on the walls and pillars, there were a few plants on shelves and there were also lots of pumpclips (mostly keg beers) on the walls. A large projector screen was brought down against the right-hand wall whilst I was sat alongside it. I'm guessing they were getting ready to show the rugby.

At the bar, there were a couple of cask ales - Vocation Bread & Butter & Salopian Lemon Dream. Keg choices were Camden Pale & Stout, Verdant Sundialer, Thornbridge Green Mountain & Vocation Death By Cherries. The cider was Orchard Pig Reveller.

The clientele here appeared to be mainly women. Many were there for food, as opposed to beers. Dogs are allowed in.

It sounds like the Crafty Swine is an improvement on TriBeCA, but I'd still expected to find something a little better.
