A modern estate pub looking building on the south side of the A64 near one of the most horrendous interchanges in Leeds and it’s got a few. Inside it’s an L shape with counter faces down each leg. The front section has a couple of screens on different racing channels, a pair of dart boards and a pool table. The side room is similar but no pool or darts. Both rooms have a couple of T-Bars and four or so solos with national favourites, plus two pulls. One pull in the side room had fake ale Wainwright Gold the other an acceptable Kirkstall Three Swords. One pump in the front room was unclipped alongside a tall Wainwright Gold pull without a brewery conditioned label, the two in the side room were clipped and the Wainwright had the offending label. The decor is devoted to Leeds United within a 1960s setting. More screens, showing corporate ads, and machines in the side bar along with a DJ area. It does food for its down to earth customers including pizzas to take out and a Sunday carvery as well as karaoke on Friday and Saturday. Definitely not Hopeless, but working really hard for their local community.
