The Hollybrook Tavern is on the south western edge of Derby and was built to serve the new heatherton estate.
The pub looks quite nice outside with a small garden area at the front and once inside the pub was smart and comfortable,the bar was facing and there was a dining area to the right but this area still looked quite pubby.the drinking area to the left was quite a large area with plenty of seats in different styles.
There were eight pumps on the bar but three of these were repeated so there were five real ales on,i had a drink of Triple F Altons Pale Ale and this was a very nice refreshing drink,the other beers were Cairngorm Trade Winds, Taylor Landlord, GK IPA and Pedigree.
There were a few other drinkers in here on my mid afternoon visit and the dining area was empty,i thought the atmosphere was quite nice and relaxed and i was quite happy having a very nice well kept beer that was also at a decent price.

yes, i agree with the first review! this is one of the clickiest pubs i have been into, the locals make you feel unwelcome and the staff are very rude. definitely one place to steer clear of if you dont want to get into a fight!!

AVOID THIS PUB - Unfriendly and rude, as well as running out of flagship beer (Bass) regularly. Real "can't be bothered" attitude.
Serves drink in dirty glasses.
