I found myself in the Three Graces late one recent Saturday evening when the Eurovision Song Contest was in full flow and being shown on the a portable TV up in the corner. This is a chilled open plan bar with a standard draught selection available. There are also two hand pumps, but one of these was unused leaving WJ King’s Brighton Best as the only ale option. The barmaid was nice enough to let me have a taste of it and I wasn’t a fan so I had a well poured pint of Guinness instead. I didn’t see anyone eating, but food is served and I can imagine it getting quite busy in here during dining hours. There are some picnic tables outside on the path and there is a quiz on the second and forth Monday of the month from 20:30.
I was one of four customers, but to be honest I was glad of the peace and quiet after leaving the Stoneham down the road. I found the staff to be very friendly and although this is not my preferred traditional pub I would have no hesitation returning.
