Update - re-opened as Spin Bar, a nightclub catering to the thirtysomething professional element that predominate the late-night Wokingham drinking scene. My mate is never too impressed by the DJ's record collection.
August 2006 (Buzz)
Trendy, trendy wine bar opposite (in so many ways) to the Gig House. For a yuppies pub it's actually not too bad. The interior is quite tasteful and the prices are fairly reasonable given its market. No ales of course but a pint of Staropramen was alright as an alternative. I think I remember fish tanks being built into the walls as I lounged on the sofas. No real atmosphere though. Rating 4
